Exporting Changes

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to export products from CloudHQ to your POS terminal.

  • To being with, click on the menu button located in the top left hand corner of your screen, followed by branch admin and then followed by export data.
  • Once on this page, you then need to select the branch that you want to send the information to. If you want to send information to multiple branches, simply hold down the control button and select the additional branches.
  • Once you have selected the destination, you then need to select the data that you wish to send.
  • Selecting the data can be accomplished in two different ways:
  • First, you can select the box next to products. This will automatically select all of the data that falls under that category.
  • Alternately, you can select items individually, by clicking on the boxes next to their descriptions.
  • After you have selected the relevant data, you then need to select the method of transfer. This can be accomplished in one of two ways:
  • Selecting the ‘since last transfer’ option allows you to then send the data that had been created after the last transfer to your POS system.
  • Selecting the ‘full transfer’ option then allows for ALL of the data that is saved to your CloudHQ to be sent to your POS terminal. This option is mainly used for setting up brand new sites or for rebuilding your POS terminal.
  • Once you have chosen your desired transfer option, simply click the export button. From here your data will be processed and sent to your POS terminal ready to be imported.
  • In order to fully complete this process you then need to go to your POS terminal and import these changes.
