In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create questions.

To begin click on the Menu button located in the top left hand corner of your screen, followed by Back Office, followed by Products and then followed by Questions.

Once on this page you need to begin by creating a question number (as this is the first question it will be number 1), a title and the question that will pop up on the screen.

For this example we are creating a question for the purchase of gift cards.

After you have entered this information you will then move down to the bottom section of the page to fill out the other options that are available.

The first step is to choose the type of answer that is required from the 6 given types.

The second step is to select the minimum and maximum length for the result that is required. For this example we are going to set the minimum a 1 and the maximum as 10.

The final 3 steps require either a tick or to be left blank.

The first box asks if you wish for this information to be unique for each product that is scanned. When it comes to scanning multiple gift cards it is important to tick this box to ensure that each gift card retains its specialized barcode. If it were not checked, one barcode would become connected to all of the remaining gift cards making the rest of them invalid.

The second box asks if you wish for this information to be printed on the receipt, which we will leave blank.

The third and final box asks if you wish for this information to appear in a survey, which we are also going to leave blank.

Once all of this information has been imported into the document, you simply need to click ‘update’ and then your question will be stored on your database.

If you wish to alter a question simply select it from the drop down filter next to ‘edit existing question’ and fill in your changes. Once you are happy simply click update and your question is once again saved to your database.
