Menus

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create menus within your cloud system.

This menu function allows for you to create ‘pop-up’ messages that will appear on your POS screen to aid in adding additional information for the ordering process.

To begin click on the Menu button located in the top left hand corner of your screen, followed by Back Office, followed by Products and then followed by Menus.

Once this screen has loaded you then need to select the menu that you wish to edit. If this is the first menu you are creating simply begin by typing in the menu number, for this example it would be number 1, and then enter the name of your menu which in this example is going to be “which spread?”.

Once you have created your title, you then need to locate the PLU codes for the ideas you wish to add to your pop up messages.

For this example I am going to add the names and codes for four different types of spreads that would pop up once a customer orders toast.

It is important to note that when you are importing your PLU codes into the first column you must enter an * at the end of the code otherwise the code will not convert into an action once imported to your POS.

Once you have entered your products and their corresponding PLU codes, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and select ‘update’. You will then be informed that your menu has been updated.

If you wish to edit any pre-existing menus, simply select the menu from the drop down filter entitled ‘edit existing menu’.

Once you have selected your menu, simply import your changes or additions and click ‘update’ to complete the process.
