Hand held Settings

This following tutorial is about how to complete a Stock Take using a Hand Held on Cloudhq. You can do this weekly, monthly or whatever time frame suits you.

To begin with click on the menu button in the top left hand corner of your screen, followed by Stock and Stock Taking. This will take you to the screen where you can perform the stock take.

Edit Steps:

Select the Branch and Type(Supplier or Department) you wish to run a stock take on. Then click on “Import-Sales Status”. This will ask you “Do you want to stop importing Sale?” Please press YES as you cannot have this running when completing a Stock Take. It will show as red X Stopped in the top right corner. Then select the green tab in the bottom right hand corner “Hand Held Settings” This will take you to the following screen: Select the branch you would like, then the “Device Type” and then the fields you would like in your report. PLU is compulsory and we recommend including “Stock Qty”. You can select all fields or just two. Then select “Save”and on the success screen click YES. This will take you back to the Stock Taking screen: Now click on “Select Branch” and then select the Suppliers or Departments you would like to appear in your Stock Take. Now select your departments you would like to appear in your Stock Take ie White Wine, Tavern Wines. Press the grey tab “Export to CSV” then load the CSV file to your hand held. Complete your stock take with your Hand held by scanning the bar codes on each product. Once completed click on the white tab “Import File”, Click to open the file Browser and then choose the CSV file.
